All classes stretched in the gym to prepare for the annual One Mile Fun Run, the culmination of the year's P.E. running program!
Physical education classes are held twice a week for students in Keiki Co-op to Sixth Grade. We have a full-size gymnasium as well as a large field. Special events that happen throughout the year are: Activity Days in October and April. Jump Rope for Heart is held in February and our One Mile Fun Run is in May. Volleyball and Basketball leagues are open to students from 3rd through 6th grade. The goal is to give students a good foundation of skill development, cognitive understanding, and positive attitudes towards themselves in physical activity. The emphasis in the P.E. program is for each child to do their physical best.
