Petey Kaneshiro

Anna Ruth “Petey” Kaneshiro has been a cherished part of the Holy Nativity School ‘ohana for over three decades. Since 1989, she has guided generations of Hawks as the Lead Kindergarten Teacher, nurturing young learners with wisdom, patience, and aloha.

 

Originally from New York, Mr.s Kaneshiro made Hawai‘i home in 1968 and earned her BA from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is also a proud alumni parent—her sons, Daren and Dean, attended HNS from preschool through sixth grade. Petey’s deep connection to the school and passion for early childhood education make her a beloved and inspiring presence on campus.
