Temporary Long-Term Substitute Lead Teacher – Pre-K (Age 4)

July 27 – October 2, 2026
Holy Nativity School seeks a nurturing and experienced educator to serve as Temporary Long-Term Substitute Lead Teacher for our Pre-Kindergarten (4-year-old) class during the first quarter of the 2026–2027 school year.
 
This position includes in-service training July 27–31, 2026, and full-time classroom leadership August 3–October 2, 2026 (Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.).
Responsibilities include leading a joyful, developmentally appropriate, play-based classroom; supporting students’ social-emotional and academic growth; partnering with families; completing first quarter progress reports; conducting September parent-teacher conferences; and collaborating with assistant teachers and colleagues.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must meet Hawaii DHS/PATCH lead teacher requirements
  • Preschool or Pre-K experience required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
