Religion

Holy Nativity School partners with Holy Nativity Church to provide a climate of well-being for the healthy development of thriving and resilient children. Meeting the holistic needs of mind, body, and soul are foundational in the religion program.
Episcopal language and liturgy provide the framework for communicating sacred stories and themes within an inclusive and respectful community. Universal virtues and values, such as integrity, empathy, compassion, and loving-kindness, are specifically taught and modeled within the religion program and valued throughout the school environment. Weekly community chapels and grade level religion classes provide encouraging opportunities for spiritual connections, creative self-reflection, and discussion. Students are also given leadership opportunities to participate in chapel programs. It is with dedication and intentionality that Holy Nativity School endeavors to help prepare students for ethical lives of purpose and service. Supporting children on their faith journey is a joyful and sacred privilege.

“To give them a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11) is the culminating goal of the religion program and central to the core of Holy Nativity School.
