At Holy Nativity School, our keiki are known, cared for, and truly seen. You can feel it in the way they show up—with confidence, pride, and heart.

Here, they learn they belong. That their voices matter. That who they are—and where they come from—matters.

On Friday, May 15, our community will come together for our second annual Giving Day—a meaningful moment rooted in those same values.

Throughout the week leading up to Giving Day, our students explore what it means to give—through stories, conversations, and everyday acts that reflect the way we care for one another. Giving Day is when our full community—families, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends—shows up in support of the HNS Fund.

Together, we’re aiming for:

$75,000 for the 2025–26 HNS Fund
100% participation from parents, faculty, staff, and board

For the past several years, our community has reached 100% participation—a reflection of the deep commitment people feel towards our school. We’re excited to build on that momentum again this year.

Every gift matters. Whether you’re a current family member, alum, grandparent, or friend of the school, your participation helps strengthen and sustain Holy Nativity School.

What your gift supports:

The HNS Fund directly supports our teachers, classroom experiences, student programs, and financial aid. It ensures that each child is known, supported, and given the opportunity to learn, grow, and find their voice —hallmarks of a Holy Nativity School education.

A little extra fun:

All classes that reach 100% participation will earn a pizza party lunch on Fellowship Day.

NEW: Kūpuna Giving Challenge

At Holy Nativity School, our community stretches across generations. Grandparents, aunties, uncles, alumni families, godparents, and lifelong friends all help shape the caring, joyful environment our keiki experience every day.

This Giving Week, a generous HNS kūpuna family has stepped forward with a special $20,000 challenge gift to inspire even more extended ʻohana to support the HNS Fund.

The Challenge

When 10 current or past kūpuna families make a gift, we unlock the first $5,000
When 20 kūpuna families participate, we unlock the remaining $15,000

Every gift — at every level — helps support the teachers, student programs, financial aid, and day-to-day experiences that make Holy Nativity School such a meaningful place to learn and grow.

Whether you are a current grandparent, alumni grandparent, auntie, uncle, family friend, or someone who simply loves this little school in the valley, your support helps carry the HNS spirit forward for the next generation.

The Alumni Giving Challenge Returns

Last year, our alumni community showed up in such a meaningful way that an HNS alumni family was inspired to bring back — and grow — the Alumni Giving Challenge for Giving Week 2026.

This year, they have pledged an even larger $7,500 challenge gift to encourage alumni participation and celebrate the lasting connection so many families have to Holy Nativity School.

Our goal this year is to reach 30 alumni and alumni family donors during Giving Week.

The Challenge

At 10 alumni or alumni-family donors, we unlock $2,500

At 30 donors, we unlock $5,000

Alumni support helps sustain the people, programs, financial aid, and experiences that continue to shape life at HNS today.

Whether you walked these halls yourself, once wore an HNS uniform, or have stayed connected through children and grandchildren, your participation helps strengthen this community for the next generation of keiki.

Every donor helps move this challenge forward.
